NASCAR Sponsor

I know this is a big wish, but, I wish Robby would team up with the US Border Patrol....I saw a show where they were really trying to beef up the Patrol Vehicles for use in the desert, they even had a sand rail that broke down while taping the show, it just seams logical that if they were going to sponsor anyone in NASCAR that it would be someone that could relate to their mission. Robby could build are give technical advise for their fleet of desert vehicles and they in return could give Robby sponsorship for at least 10 races..I know that they have supported Kenny Walace but like any good government operation they are always subject to change........

Any money going to our Border Patrol is a waste of tax payers money. The whole organization is a means of the Fed hidding money to screw us. The last thing the lame a$%es that work there need is another good vehicle to tear-up. STATE YOUR BUSINESS !!!!!

I'm sure the guy's that get shot at daily would appreciate dependable and reliable equipment. Not to mention that the Border Patrol probably keeps more drugs off the street than any other law enforcement agency in the United States. With the kind of character guy Robby is just thought it would be a good fit...So ease up CPT PEZ and don't be so easy to cut on our guys in uniform...

I found this interesting; If Dale Jr is having trouble finding sponsorship for his NW team, then you know the rest of these teams like RGM are going to really be struggling to find sponsorship for 2010. Dale Jr's name used to sell itself.

JR Motorsports still looking for sponsorship: One looming issue with JR Motorsports is that the organization is still searching for full sponsorship for its flagship #88 car. Funding was pieced together this season, but a large chunk of money was lost when GoDaddy.com decided to move to the Sprint Cup Series as full sponsor for Mark Martin at Hendrick Motorsports. Earnhardt on Thursday called the sponsorship search "a dire situation" and said it's likely new driver Kelly Bires will only be able to run half of the season. Earnhardt does not run JR Motorsports for profit, but instead created the organization as a way to help employ many of his family members. He said he expects Tony Eury Jr. to be the crew chief for the team next season. Eury was fired as Earnhardt's crew chief at Hendrick in June. (Associated Press)

AND Currently, the #5 car has sponsorship to run just four races all with Earnhardt Jr. in the car, he said. "We've got irons in the fire, but we've had irons in the fire for months," he said. "I'm a little worried about that. I'd like to run [the 88 car the] full season next year. I think the Nationwide Series is better with that car running a full season next year. But the possibilities of that happening do not look really good right now. "It's very unfortunate. We're working to try to find opportunities for our team to race. We've met with over half-a-dozen drivers in the last six months to try to find packages and potential in not only talent but sponsor money to keep 100-plus employees employed throughout next season." Earnhardt Jr. previously co-owned JRM with Sprint Cup owner Hendrick, with the two each holding a 50 percent stake in the company. And I also read on Jayski that several more teams like Red Bull, Yates and TRG have started to lay off employees. Red Bull is surprising to hear as is TRG. TRG was saying how they are going to run Bobby Labonte full time and not S&P, and that they were looking to start a second team. If this was the case then why lay off your workers and your CC and GM?
