Danica to drive # 7 Godaddy.com Chevy for JRM in Nationwide...offer to RGM for # 7 next?
The press release is out, tomorrow Danica Patrick will announce she will drive in the Nationwide Series for JR Motorsports, and she'll be using her Indy car number also...the number 7. According to one radio station, when Danica decides to race in Cup (likely in 2011) her marketing team could be visiting RGM with hopes of purchasing the car number 7 from Robby.
When DEI first started, Dale Earnhardt Sr. bought the #8 from Stovola Bros to honor his father Ralph Earnhardt (Car numbers are owned by Nascar and any deals have to be approved by Nascar).

Why sell the #7? RG should have Danica bring her GoDaddy.com $$$$$ and race the RGM #7 in 2011. I'm sure RG wouldn't have a problem using another number if he got GoDaddy Dollars for RGM and a piece of Danica's Merch sales.

Danica would never driver for RGM. Like ol' Dale Jr. and Paris Hilton, she'll ride her name to something far better than she deserves.

That is a great point, we often forget Robby's influences, ( Foyt, Rick Mears, Parnellie,:., ) and that is why he is as agressive as he is. Thats why we root for him.
