yeah, 10-4 on that. As lng as he can maintain this stage, it's all good.

Gaining ground - one and a half minutes to get to 10th. Thats the goal to salvage a decent day and good start tomorrow.

Trucks are Rolling!
Looks like the Monster 528 truck took off about an hour ago.12:59
Most lead trucks are clearing the 1st leg in 40 min. 528 hasn't.
528 must/should have stopped to upright & repair BJ's rig.
Hopefully he'll be on the way soon. a couple hours off, but still a 3rd team.

Yes. ASO does this like they do Tour De France - There is a deadline to meet or you have to abandon. I don't know if it is a set time each day or % of the leaders or what.

There is a final curfew/min. finish time, but I doubt it'll knock them out this early on, if he comes in under his own power. I believe they could be towed in, repaired & continue running as support, but may officially be a DNF.
Last year a number of rigs got lost & failed to finish on time. Many kept running the course just to finish, & I think the ASO revised the rules to allow extra time.
I also think that's why they're running the course in reverse of last year. The early Argentine & (especilly) Chilean stages caught a lot "over time".
It'll be interesting to see if it's any different this year, or if the late stages knock out a bunch.

Robby passed another Mitsubishi (Misslin) who was 20" ahead at the 223KM checkpoint. Slow and steady wins the race!!!!! maybe not slow but definately steady.

Closing on Leal dos Santos(BMW) who was ahead by over 1'30" and is now only 1" ahead. Gas On!!!
