There's a lot of race to go. Anything can happen to the leaders in the upcoming stages. True, it's not looking good, but it's way too soon to just give up.

the top 4 are almost at the finish and RG hasn't even cleared CP1. I'd say it's looking a little worse than "not good"

They don't even hit the sand in this stage until 90km. Up until CP1 it's all gravel and rocks.
