Well you would have to figure that since we know RGM is not 100% funded for the full season next year and maybe RGM could not offer Doug full season employment. It sounds like this Key Up Motorsports is a new team and looks to be family owned. So who knows how long they plan on being around, but if they could offer Doug more money or more security then what RGM can offer. I would think Doug would have to take it. Especially if RGM is not sure they could afford to pay Doug a salary for the full season. My guess is if RGM Cup sponsorship was fully funded that Doug would be on the box for 2010.
Once again this would be my speculation. Who knows maybe RGM's agreement with Doug ended in 2009 and all party's involved knew that Doug would not be there for 2010.

Exactly. maybe Doug had the deal done with the new team back in 2009. Add in the possibility of a PT schedule for RG, its not very hard to figure it out.
now back to that silly thing called Dakar that RG got another top 5 today.
