The key thing is to stay afloat and race the ful schedule....here's the break down entering the year:

Funded full time top 35 from last year (w/ Scott Speed) 31

00, 1, 2, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 24, 29, 31, 33, 39, 42, 43,
47, 48, 56, 77, 82, 83, 88, 98, 99

Top 35 teams gone from last year
07, 26, 44

Potentially Decent Full Time: 71 (locked in PCP for first 5), 78, 34, 09, 49

Weak full time 36, 37, 46, 66, 70?, 90 and anyone else

Part time 07, 55, 87, 21

Projected top 35 after 5
the 31 full funded from last year + the 71 then most likely 3 of the following 78, 34, 09, 49

No reason for Robby not to stay locked in the top 35 if he races the full schedule
I've just read somewhere else that Dave Blaney will drive the 49 car, don't know if that's true though.
is there any chance of buying owner points from a top 35 team that is not competing this year
You mean like the #07? Think Robby and Richard could get a deal done?
it would take some serious jack
not our concern...thats Beth concern. The #7 is locked in. Our concern is giving the #49 qulaity cars and technical information.
What will be interesting this year after last years Owner Ponts debacle 3 days before Daytona is what happens with the #26 and #44 points for Daytona...practically Rousch owns both...as whatever a Ford wants to do he has a GREAT say in...they may go to Front Row mtorsports as th eonly other Ford teams planning on running a full schedule that are not locked in

(RCR is running the 07 at Daytona)
the 34 is already locked in. the 37 might get the 26's points though
Speaking of NASCAR...

Just saw a few shots of a Robby Gordon Monster Energy #7 COT on Speed.

It was featured with some other racing vehicles at the Supercross Series in Anaheim.
interesting????
Moster and Red bull are the two biggest energy drinks and it would be nice if Monster would show at least one cup run
If they can get both cars locked in after 5 races, they could bring a third to the track as a go or go home. This way they could test some theories and gain more info. They could actually bring 4 cars, which would increase knowledge even more.
Those are some big dreams my friend. I think the 7 and 49 will be plenty for now.
