haha wow...my bad...
hmmm-didn't really see much that was very new on there.
hit Twitter/gillysgang - it talks about an online chat with David on Wednesday (tomorrow). Seems meaningful since there hasn't been any activity on that site since November.

"David Gilliland will be doing a live chat with Gilly's Gang at Davidgilliland.com Wed. Check the site's Fan Circuit for more information! "
call me an optimist (yeah right), but I'm thinking RG finds some additional funding for much - but not all - the rest of the sponsor gaps. Can't be a big name because there isn't enough time for a major funder to put together a completely integrated PR campaign. I tend think we'll see the same approach from RGM...one or two races here, one or two races there, pretty soon we're watching the entire season. Downside is the losing DR, so RGM will have to kind of pick from the remaining CC lot. However, one thing we've learned is there is always a willing CC out there somewhere.
From what I'm hearing, the big rear wing may be making a depature from Nascar. Something resembeling the old style may be re-introduced. If thats the case, a lot of aero/handling notes are out the window. It'd be real benificial for RG to have a guy of Doug's caliber on board to write new notes on the drawing board. Hope RG has someone lined up...

BTW: I caught that bit about the rear wing off PRN's Nascar minute a few days ago.
good riddance....
Nascar is also thinking of revising the restirctor plates as well ( or may have done so already ).......this may also have an effect on the plate program. I agree, i hope RGM has someone in mind.
Wait? a wing makes lift, who'd a thunk it?
What happens when you turn that wing upside down?
Hey,
Sliders back
