I understand the "sponsorship" and everything. My point was that Robby does get a lot of publicity in Dakar whether he is doing well or not. Rarely does a show go by on Vs that you don't see a picture of the hummer.

that means the sponsors are getting the bang for their buck that they expect to in the first place. Its been great for them.

I think Team Hummer has had much better exposure this year. Better than even last year when Robby finished 3rd overall. Not only in the US, but in South America and the European community. That's a worldwide marketing campaign for Monster Energy, Toyo Tires, Hummer, Polaris, Traxxas and 4 Wheel Parts. What more could a sponsor ask for?

Actually RGs pit crew is sponsored by monster. Monster also owns Robby's helmet rights.

Hearing that they will pick up the other 28 races...if there are 1000 posts here regarding their sponsorship before the conclusion of Dakar.

I am a firestarter....anybody else remember that song?
