I see the logic but I really don't like it. I suppose that if the majority of the 2009 top 20 had an odd number qualifying result then the Duels would be unbalanced and one of the starting grid lines would be filled with cars from outside of the 2009 top 20.
Wouldn't want to make any of the "stars" of NASCAR upset when one of the "unskilled" drivers bump or bang them on the on the first few laps on the race.
