You've lost a premiere driver.
Your over-all performance has been sub-par to say the least.
Sunday's race was pitiful... only one car in the top 20... but Dodge teams have been on a downward spin for weeks.

Time to step up and give your teams some real support or just get out of the game.

i dont think dodge is to fault with rgm... and every manufacturer has engine failure.... i think rgm needs to throw those rgm chassis in the dumpster!.... they are junk.... run the chassis that you have an alliance with, in this case gem.... that way all info. can be transfered back and forth, with chassis and engine.
This is just a question of curiosity, what are we talking $$$ wise to start building your own motors?
Most of that is usually spearheaded by the manufacturer. The $$ cost is why you only have a few engine builders out there.
Why is it they say you can't tune the motors?
They also know the limits and do not want anyone messing with timing and carbs causing a premature failure.
RGM is having enough trouble doing what they need to do, it's a bad time to try building motors.....
Dodge is definately the weakest of the four in Cup right now. But being with Ford is worthless unless you drive for Roush.
why not try another dodge engine maker, like Ernie Elliott?
Maybe it's the fact that things are constantly changing @ RGM. Maybe if there were some solid notes,& ONE cc, we'd be in a different position. Oh,& having the budget of any 2 or 3 car team would help incredibly.
Oh come on anyone can have an engine failure. Last week RG's electrical fire - could happend to anyone. Denny Hamlin lost his engine. All of the mfg.s are hurting financially - without Cousin Carl Ford wouldn't be doing very well either. I see Gibbs "got hammered" this week. Robby's CC has to learn how to cheat and not get caught al la Chad Knaus - of course he did get caught a couple of times. But I don't understnd RG's statement about fuel mileage a couple weeks ago, that just floored me. Something about they can't figure it out because they get the engines from Everham - I used to be able to figure my mp gallon in my old Ford with 2 gallons running exactly one mile siphoning out the rest and figuring out what was left + about 1/2 pt. for spillage, etc. I know that is antiquated, but it seemed to work. Joan
Joan- It's not that they can't figure out what they're getting. It's that they can't figure out why it's so different from what they should be getting, based off the GEM cars.
From what I hear Robby is not the best guy in the garage at conserving fuel. He is pretty hard on motors - so that may be at least some of the problem.
