2009 results for Robby Gordon at Fontana

1st race - started 12th, finished 30th *** Best starting spot for Robby in 2009 ***
2nd race - started 38th, finished 38th *** Jesse McCartney national anthem blunder ***
a little tidbit I found on whowon.com

Burton Loopy in Fontana … According to NASCAR’s loop data statistics, Burton is the sport’s fourth-best Green Flag Passer. Over the past 10 races at the two-mile oval, the South Boston, Va., native has made 776 passes under green-flag conditions and is 62 passes shy of leader Robby Gordon’s tally. Of those 776 passes, 454 were made while racing in the top 15.
It's a shame Robby doesn't have a little more to show for all those passes. LOL That's a lot of passing for the finishes he's had.
Pit stops..pit stops..pits stops.....they are getting better...California will be a good indication!!!
Time to "get-r-done" even though Whitney is on the hood!!
"NASCAR (Nextel Cup Series) Fastest Speed while going backwards(Recorded at finish line: Robby Gordon,(141.231 mph), September 2, 2007"
Here's hoping to more Q efforts like the first California race from last year!

I'd be happy if he Q's top 25 or better every week...
RGM's COT results for Fontana:
There were 4 COT races at this track. In 2008 Spring Robby started 28 and finished 18. In the fall he started 36 and finished 40th. See TOG's post for the 2009 season. The problem with the fall 2009 race finish of 38th was that Robby broke the exhaust system. I think we could see a top 20 on Sunday.
Was that the one where he had a pipe extruding out the side?
That will never happen again.
Thank God....
