"GM will now work closely with Hummer employees, dealers and suppliers to wind down the business in an orderly and responsible manner."

Our local dealer closed over the weekend. This explains that.
bummer.... Im fond of the rigs
Seriously, RG should buy it. Pro drive bought Austin Martin and having success with the brand, RG should buy Hummer and make it a prestige brand with motorsports to back it up.
RGM doesn't have the money to run a full Cup schedule on their own. Do you honestly think he has the cash flow, or financing, to buy a failing company? Absolutely not.
I disagree. Why waste your own personal cash to run cup any more than he already does.

Although its unlikly he will buy it, it could happen with some help.

It would be a seperate buisness.
If Roger Penske can't complete the deal to buy Saturn, Robby Gordon can not buy Hummer.

Seriously, just because this is Planet Robby doesn't mean you should be completely detached from reality.

Now on to the discussion of how this impacts his Rally/Raid career.
Robby should by Hummer and NASA. DOH! There's those voices in my head again. Where's my flyswatter?
...rocket powered Hummers, thats how we win Dakar!
Hey Gray, the only reason we all are on this forum is because we are completely detached from reality. This is the place to make audacious claims and fantasize about unrealistic results.
SO no more hummer for RG for next year's Dakar???????
