Guys we should be able to outrun the 37...it's Kevin Conway for pete's sake!
We should definetly be better than the extenze car. That is a sponsor driven ride, can't switch drivers without losing the sponsor.
This race will feature Blake Shelton's mug on the hood.
Cool!!! I love his stuff. Blake's good friends with Sadler so seeing his face on the hood of the #7 might tick Elliot off just a bit. Who knows where that may lead.
Back to the SnP thing... Dave Blaney proved that he can run better than Robby if the team was properly funded. That's not good news for RGM. Unfortuatnely for the 66 team, they had to run a full race to get out of the microscope and got an additional $3K for thier effort. Far less than the cost of fuel and tires. I guess that's the price they have to pay now. If NASCAR wants to eliminate the SnP then they need to modify the pay out. It'll be interesting to see what the 09 does this week if they qualify.

Seriously though, nice run for Blaney, 29th place only 3 laps down. 4 positons and 2 laps better than Robby. Yikes.
You'd think NASCAR would have bigger fish to fry. THERE'S the reason why the stands are empty! Poor Dave Blaney and the rest of the start-and-park guys. As usual, NASCAR addresses its problems by picking on the little guys.

I read an interview with Dale Jr. in which he had the audacity to say that parity has come to NASCAR, just like in the NFL. Parity is the same 10 cars winning every week? Look at the 2001 season, when like 18-20 different guys won a race! We are moving away from parity, not toward it.

I worried about this with the COT. I knew that it would be the death of smaller teams. People point to the economy, and of course that has played a huge role, but the COT has really screwed teams like RGM, in my opinion.
RGM definitely had some nicer handling/finishing "old style" cars in 2006-2007....that's for sure!

Still say we were going to win that Spring Atlanta Race won in 2006 but for the bogus debris caution...
wow..actually we were sort of no joke in 2006. just about half our races (17) were top 20 runs...

a few too many (9) engines failure/accidnet races though) killed our overall pt standings that year..but definitely had some great performance in those Chevy's with the DEI power (until we announced the switch to Ford and they gave us a bunch of grenades the last 7 races...lol)

They gave Jr the remaining ones the following year in 2007 when he announced he was leaving for Hendrick...
Ya Dale Jr is retarded with those comments.

I'd like to see parity in NASCAR. If there was parity, there is no way the 48 has 4 titles in a row.
do you get a discount on extenze pills?
I would be happy to try some Extenze, but when I told the nice young lady peddling the stuff that I would like to give it a test drive she just rolled her eyes and walked away.
Looking like a perfect weather weekend in Atlanta. Hope to unload with some speed and have some good practices on our way to bringing home a stron finish! A top 20/25 woul dbe nice to get a little cushion away from the top 35 bubble...
