What song do you think Robby should use for his pre-race introduction at Bristol Motor Speedway on March 21?  Last year he used 'All Summer Long' by Kid Rock.   But I think we can come up with something much better!!

Here's one from me to get started::

Pod - Boom  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ufb6T-av-rU

With the words - 'Here Comes the Boom' painted on the front bumper of the #7 car!

Slayer was a Warner Artists until 92' ..but about as far from country as you can get. They redid born to be wild and I believe it was used as a NASCAR promo couple years ago. IMO it was the worst crap I'd ever heard.
I know its not a good RG Theme band, but its been in my head fore a while. the new album and a certain verse i cant stop saying

I didnt know they redid that song, but there covers always suck anyways
holly crap i just youtubed it...that sucks
Born Under a Bad Sign

written by Albert King, I like the performance by Cream.

Born under a bad sign
I've been down since I began to crawl
If it wasn't for bad luck
I wouldn't have no luck at all
whoever ends up on the hood will be the song he chooses.
WRECK OF THE EDMUND FITZGERALD - GORDON LIGHTFOOT
ditto
Hello Walls - Faron Young
good one
That's Funny!
Right up there with -No Sweepers
How about "Born to be Wild" - JF
I'm not at all religious but...The next race is at BRISTOL and Robby's current situation is.....

2010 Official Driver Standings:
RANK +/- DRIVER POINTS BEHIND
36 -2 Robby Gordon 249 -395

STATISTICS

38 7 Robby Gordon 36 52.1 37.7

So I figured Robby should go with "Carrie Underwood's- Jesus take the wheel" but with a little tweaking of the words to fit the race at BMS.

Robby's driving at Bristol Motor Speedway
On his way back up into the owner points
Going round and round with the roll padding in the backseat
Fifty laps to go and he was running low on faith and Sunoco gasoline
It'd been a long hard year
He had a lot on his mind and he's several laps down
He was going way too slow
Before he knew it he was spinning on the thin grey concrete oval
He saw his owner points flash before his eyes
He didn't even have time to cry
He was sooo damn pissed
He threw his hands up in the air

Jesus take the wheel
Take it from my hands
Cause I can't do this on my own
I'm letting go
So give me one more chance
Save me from this track I'm on
Jesus take the wheel

It was still running when he made it to the pits
And the car came to a stop
He cried when he saw the damage
And for the first time in a long time
He bowed his head to pray
He said I'm sorry for the way
I've been driving my car
I know I've got to change
So from now on tonight

Jesus take the wheel
Take it from my hands
Cause I can't do this on my own
I'm letting go
So give me one more chance
Save me from this track I'm on

Ooh, Jesus take the wheel
Ooh, I'm letting go
So give me one more chance
Save me from this track I'm on
From this track I'm on
Jesus take the wheel
Ooh, take it, take it from me
Owners Points ooh wah ah ooh ooh ooh
