Charlotte, NC (March 18, 2010) – The Warner Music Nashville / Blake Shelton Camry rolls into Thunder Valley this weekend for the Food City 500. After finishing 2nd at the San Felipe 250 last weekend as a part of the SCORE International Off-Road Series, Gordon is ready to return to the front of the field in NASCAR competition. The Warner Music Nashville / Blake Shelton crew is rejuvenated and ready to fight for survival around the World’s Fastest Half-Mile.

Robby’s Thoughts – “Bristol Motor Speedway is one of the most challenging tracks on the Sprint Cup circuit,” said Gordon. “As a driver, you have to constantly be up on the wheel and turning the car around the tight corners. By the time the checkered flag falls, I’m exhausted but if that’s what it takes to make it all 500 laps, I’ll do it every week. To make Bristol more of a challenge, its small size makes it extremely easy to get caught up in someone else’s mistake. The Warner Music Nashville / Blake Shelton team just needs to stay alert to everything going on around us and hopefully we’ll be lucky enough to bring our racecar home in one piece.”

Background at Bristol Motor Speedway – Since making his first start at Bristol Motor Speedway in early 1997, Gordon has logged more than 7,500 laps around Thunder Valley during his Sprint Cup Series Career. Gordon’s best start at the half-mile track came in 2002 when he qualified on the outside pole for the spring race. Gordon’s best finish at the track came during the summer of 2006 when Gordon wheeled his car to a 12th-place finish.

Race Coverage – FOX will air a live television broadcast of the race beginning at 1:00 p.m. EST on Sunday, March 21. Meanwhile, MRN and SIRIUS Satellite Radio both provide live radio coverage of the event. Qualifying for the race will be aired on SPEED Channel beginning at 3:30 p.m. EST on Friday, March 19th. "...team just needs to stay alert to everything going on around us ..."

Who's spotting for RG this weekend? That'll be key.
Ron Lewis, who has been spotting all year(except Vegas)..

For those who might not know, Ron is also the spotter for Mike Skinner in the truck series.
Thanks. Good experienced eyes then, I'd think.
