Robby Gordon Martinsville Preview

Charlotte, NC (March 25, 2010) – The No. 7 Warner Music Nashville / Blake Shelton Camry speeds into Martinsville Speedway this weekend with high hopes after recording a season-best finish of 22nd at Bristol Motor Speedway last week. After an unlucky start to the 2010 season, the team looks forward to the challenge of recording another strong finish at the 0.526-mile short track to obtain a spot within the top-35 Sprint Cup Series owners’ points.

Robby’s Thoughts – “Martinsville Speedway is different from any other track on the Sprint Cup circuit,” commented Gordon. “Its tight corners and flat banking present a whole different set of challenges from every other short track that we visit. Not only is it a tough track on the driver, but it’s also hard on equipment. I’m confident in my team’s ability, and I’m sure that they built the Warner Music Nashville / Blake Shelton Toyota Camry to the challenges of Martinsville.”

Phew, yes were in!
I don't think that will be an issue. They will have the car good to go.Just need to go the distance on Sunday, and things will fall into place.
And the race will probablly be on Monday Sunday looks to be a washout.....
On Sunday, here's hoping for some quality TV time (of the positive variety anyway). I hate spending all my time watching the crawl at the top of the screen to find out where he's running. It's dizzying.
As of 3:25pm, I can't find anything that says qual is cancelled...only delayed. Checked Jayski, Nascar, and Speed.
it hasn't been 'officially' canceled. It has been officially canceled by me though, looking at the radar and the time of day it is, and the amount of time to dry the track(although quicker to dry than most tracks).
Now wait a minute! You just said it was a 'quick drying track, for sure.' Just kidding.
at least an hour to dry this track, whereas others take up to 2 hours.
is the rain out inside info...no word officially yet (though with the radar it is pretty obvious...lol)
just my strong gut feeling that will be correct...lol....Hey, I WANT them to qualify , as it is a fun session to watch, but I just don't see it happening.
that radar is ugly...i think your gut is right!
only fun to watch if RG makes it in.
