Robby Gordon Martinsville Preview

Charlotte, NC (March 25, 2010) – The No. 7 Warner Music Nashville / Blake Shelton Camry speeds into Martinsville Speedway this weekend with high hopes after recording a season-best finish of 22nd at Bristol Motor Speedway last week. After an unlucky start to the 2010 season, the team looks forward to the challenge of recording another strong finish at the 0.526-mile short track to obtain a spot within the top-35 Sprint Cup Series owners’ points.

Robby’s Thoughts – “Martinsville Speedway is different from any other track on the Sprint Cup circuit,” commented Gordon. “Its tight corners and flat banking present a whole different set of challenges from every other short track that we visit. Not only is it a tough track on the driver, but it’s also hard on equipment. I’m confident in my team’s ability, and I’m sure that they built the Warner Music Nashville / Blake Shelton Toyota Camry to the challenges of Martinsville.”

Very good idea!
Im sure Fox would appreciate that and slap a huge breach of contract suit on Nascar....lol
and then all the companies that paid to air their commercials on Sunday afternoon will slap Fox with a breach suit..etc etc etc...

Too many variables, logistics and too much $$ invested to EVER change a start time let alone the date of a sporting event (brring a natural disaster or tragic event)
lol....weather is always far too unpredictable to make the kind of sweeping decision like that....they could easily get the race in and look like idiots an dcost everyone (fans, teams, sponsors, A TON of $$ for no reason).

Everyone signs up for and accepts that Sunday rain means a Monday race...it's not like they just made this stuff up...

the only time I remember Nascar calling a race days prior was a RIchmond race when the remnants of...was it Katrina??? were coming..the entire southern map of the us was covered in bright yellow on the radar and it was undoubtedly going to dump 5 inches of rain on the area..with 50-75mph winds...

but that gets back to my "barring a natural disaster" excpetion above...
NASCAR should be sued for advertising exiting racing.
Yes, you need the #90 to make races and try to bump out the likes of the #26 & #36
on nascar.com they said they are optimistic qualifying will get in so were are you getting your info
In my mind it #7 vs #37, #34 and #77. It does not matter what is behind him.
rain?? no way, oh man, that really su... da... god, please, no rain today for RG. please
rain isn't bad for RG.
would be one of his best starting positions this year
Wilford likes the rain almost as much as Ice Cream and Apple Pie
