Just a top 20 would be good. Of the 3 in front of him there are good odds of one having a 35th or worse. That would be almost enough. He is going to have to take two swings at this guys. This week and next week.
That close up video of him entering turn 3 was awesome. You could see him watching the wall as it came at him. Lotta good tv time for the 7. RG couldn't buy any tv time in qualifying when he was in the T35. With him being the first GOGH car on the track, he got a ton. I like the practice and qualifying this time around. A safe lap, then a put it to the wood and see if she sticks lap.
good effort no doubt, now to get a good run in and get back in the top 35. The 2 right behind RGM in owners points failed to qualify and RG is starting ahead of the 2 in front of him in owners points. RG was hauling the mail on his second lap, something we haven't seen sometime......time for a lead lap finish
good job on quals, i was worried, flashback from 2005 i guess. hopefully no tire issues and he can race the whole race, not with any bs that has hit him...good luck
will the 26 ir 36 try to buy their way into the race?
no they dont have the money
Doesn't matter. You can't buy the owner points... well, not this way , at least!
As there is no practice today and Robby gave the wall a good hit in Qual., do you think we will see problems with the car during the race?
yup. And the entire first session was on the same set of tires,so they got some good info from that practice.
That was an awesome attempt in quals. Loved seeing him that far sideways going for it! Thats our boy!
Coooooool a Shaker
Impressive. One of the announcers stated that the drivers may feel so good about the grip because of the shade in turns 1 & 2 that turns three & four in the sun may be slick and bite them in the ass! Guess what. Crap.
