Has RGM issued any update on sponsorship and planned races? Initially RG said "part-time". Have things changed i.e. improved? Are they still looking at having to miss any dates?
Robby stated a few after Daytona that the "7" car would run the entire season, some races will be RGM (Monster, Menards, Mapei?, Polaris? etc.) and some races will be BAM races (Warner Music).
TOG has stated this is a "get thru" year. Just get through the season, stay in the Top 35 and work on getting the team & results better.
Robby has stated, "Until we start to get single digit finishes, it's going to be hard to attract the sponsors we need in today's economy."
The season started out rough with some bad luck (tire issues, getting crashed at Daytona, etc), but the last 3 races have been in a positive direction. RGM is getting the cars better, the crew better and has several good tracks coming up (Richmond, Dover, Charlotte, Sonoma, Indy).
Just need to keep building weekly, take some strategy chances like Charlotte last year. Even a win doesn't mean anything these days, look at James Finch's #09, they won Dega last year and is up for sell this year. Robby needs to keep winning on the dirt and get his Cup car up front more. The rest will come.

Keith- Not running Indy 500 frees up Dover & Charlotte, & he was going to run the monster truck over the Martinsville weekend, but it wasn't finished in time. That is 3 races right there that were original conflicts.
I'm sorry. I know this is really annoying if you have already said this, but when was it announced that he wasn't running Indy??? I am not able to read every single post so if there has been lengthy discussion on this, tell me where it is and I'll read it.
There never really was an official announcement saying that he wasn't running Indy. But it's been discussed in virtually every post and race chat over the past couple weeks!
So Warner Music artists James Otto/Whitney Duncan and Bam VIP are going to be on the car for RIchmond. Do we know who the sponsors will be for the next 5-6 races, or will we find out on a week by week basis?

RG's comment about missing races to begin with was because of conflicts with other series, so , no the point wasnt missed. The #7 is running all the races this year, either with RGM sponsors or BAM warner colors.and RG was only missing races in the drivers seat due to conflicts with other series, and like i stated above, the May conflicts because of Indy arent conflicts anymore. Thats a few changes right there.
Thanks for clearing that up. I was under the impression that the there would be missed races due to missing sponsorship in addition to the schedule conflicts.
