I guess people don't look anymore before duplicating topics.
From Bob Pockrass: Shell just officially announced Kurt Busch will be driving a No. 22 Pennzoil car next season.
From Tom Jensen: Last year's Mobil 1/TRD tech deal virtually guarantees that if Mobil 1 is a primary sponsor next year, it will be on a Toyota.
yeah,good call on that
Just think what RGM could do with a sponsor like that...
Hey TOG,

Rumor mill on the boards this morning says that Terry Cook has parted ways with the #46 team :(
i thought that was his own team ?
Whitney Motorsports. Terry Cook confirmed he left the team on his FB page. It sounds like a driver change being that Cook DNQ'd 7 of 10 races. I'll throw this out there: Being that the #46 is a Dodge does Penske buy Justin Algaier some Cup seat time?
FOX NEWS reported this morning that Budweiser signed a Mega Buck deal yesterday displacing Miller/Coors as the official beer of the NFL. I think this just signaled the beginning of the end of Bud being a major NASCAR team sponsor. We'll see.

Also, some vibs on TWITTER yesterday that there is another major sponsor shake up in the works. Just rumors and no names mentioned.
Does that mean the Bud Bowl is BAck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Man,. I hope Budwieser crushes Bud light this year, Its been a long time coming
As long as Miller stays in Nascar, Budweiser will remain on a car. We all remember Jim Beam/Jack Daniels. Furthermore, the Nascar market is too large for Budweiser to significantly pull out of if they're sensible.
Anheuser-Busch's Bud Light will replace MillerCoors' Coors Light as the "official and exclusive beer sponsor" of the National Football League for at least six years following the end of the upcoming season, Barry Janoff reports. Reports put the value of the deal at about $7 billion.

"The NFL is the biggest, most-watched sport in North America, and we are proud for Bud Light, the world's best-selling beer, to be the league's official beer sponsor," says A-B president Dave Peacock.

Earlier this week Anheuser-Busch extended its marketing partnership with the PGA Tour through 2013. Michelob Ultra is the "official Beer of the PGA Tour" and O'Doul's is the official non-alcoholic brew.

InBev is adjusting their marketing focus... wait and see, BUD may not be gone from NASCAR, but major sponsorship may now be off the table. UNLESS somebody gives them a seriously discounted offer.
