every once in awhile the F-1 schedule works out like that. From 2003-2005 the race wasn't on Memorial day weekend. it seems to go in a 4-5 year cycle where it is on Memorial Weekend and then hits a 1-2 year stretch where it isn't.
Lots of Safety Cars today I believe there were 4. It really made for a long race.
Because no one in Europe cares about Memorial Day.
The GP is really not traditionally run on Memorial Day. Sometimes the schedule works out to where it is, but they just don't care either way. Nor should they at this point.
