“We’re going to do everything we can [to race],” Gordon said Friday
at Dover International Speedway. “If I was to miss races, they would be
the weakest races [to get sponsorship] NASCAR has. Our goal is to race,
and that’s what I desire to do. We’re going to continue to do that until
it becomes financially not possible to do that.”

Gordon wouldn’t pinpoint a specific race where he might have to stay home. He said he would not start-and-park.

“We’re still trying to sell races,” Gordon said. “We’re going to run until we can’t run. That’s the best answer I can give.”

Gordon does have commitments for some off-road events. During the race at Pocono in June, Gordon will miss track activity Friday and Saturday so he can run the Baja 500. Michael Waltrip will
practice and qualify the car for him, Gordon said.

I agree, their incident happened 5 years ago, I bet they don't think about it anymore. And I don't think DW hates Robby as much as many people here think, I think he has a lot of respect for Robby.
I think DW and Larry Mac both like RG. Didn't DW once say if he were starting a two-car team he would want Tony Stewart and RG to drive for him?
Every time it happens....
It's very possible that the blood clots may be of some result of his new desire to go skydiving every chance he gets. Health issues and altitude can result in many different things. If it's related to his skydiving. Any swelling that causes edema can produce blood clots in the lungs. I experienced it back in September. Checking for the clots in my lungs was priority number one that night.

Until Vickers says what it is, It's all speculation.
They are ? I hadn't noticed. I love the green.
After about 3 laps Pocono is a boring parade anyway
I read the entire transcript from the race at darlington. Robby was making all the calls like the shock in the right rear and a few clicks and all, plus more. What good is Larry Carter doing if Robby is still the seat chief....or should i say what good is MW and all the singing brigade going to do to get the car right if there is no "crew chief" to make the changes. Doing anything other than having an established go to crew chief who is charge is just a waste of time. I see no help in getting golden chassis from Waltrip or GOD that get changes dictated to and not made by the "CREW CHIEF". Then we will see the finishes improve, then we will see the coverage, then we will see the sponsorship. Not have MW sit in the chair and do what? Put the car in the top ten in speed and starting position......what would you say then about our man Robby? Just....let....the....crew chief......make the calls, based on what the car is doing.
Michael Waltrip...................I need oxygen.
I found the Toyota article with Lee White to be very interesting.I certainly hope all teams take advantage of this data
Chad Knauss was just cloned 43 times. Available at Sharper Image next week.
What golden chassis from MWR?! Oh that's right the ones that got cought really cheating! RGM does not have a chassis problem per say IMO.It's all about a set-up that makes both driver and chassis happy.
Remember Robby has far more experience with what adjustments make what changes.I'm dead serious about this statement.Question- How many crew/couch cheif's have put their ass in the seat and ran competative time's or even race results? ( only Shelmerdine and Petree come to mind )
I do not think RGM's stuff is nearly as good as MWRs stuff at this point. The COT has turned into a money game, with people spending millions to gain small increases in performance. Because the rules are so tight, RGM is not able to use some of the ingenuity they were able to successfuly design into the cars from 2005-2006. (and part of 2007)

I also think having so many people giving input at RGM might be hurting too. Three concepts going into one design sometimes has a negative effect, especially when the program is trying to "catch up" to the other teams.

Not trying to be negative, just giving my opinion. I do not think MWR equipment is amazing, but it is better than RGMs at this point. (With input from former F1 crewmen, and Kauffmans money, it should be)
Look on the bright side, at least it takes along time to get lapped at Pocono!
