It was a test session for RG.He didnt really pass , it was more like those cars backed off. The open went according to plan.
Not really. Most teams had a car to throw away, because their 1.5 mile program is ok. RGs 1.5 has been a struggle this year, & this was a new chassis, so getting the car to not bottom out,and get it broken in was the main focus. Things they can fix at the shop between now and thursday if they need to, and based off the scanner, the car was hitting in places.
It was still bottoming out in turn one - we could see the sparks when he went by.
Not hardly. Forbes said the Hendrick P-R-O-F-I-T is just over $19M last year.

The quote goes: "Hendrick is the sports leader when it comes to sponsorship revenues, thanks to the success and popularity of its drivers. Its four cars generate an estimated $115 million in sponsorship revenue annually from the likes of DuPont ( DD - news - people ), Go Daddy, Lowe's ( LOW - news - people ), the National Guard and PepsiCo ( PEP - news - people ). Hendrick cars have the highest budgets in Nascar, but the huge sponsorship haul allowed Hendrick to turn an operating profit of $20 million last year, the highest in the sport."

Peter.. The entire Hendrick organization no doubt brings in 15-20 mil PER CAR with sponsorship.Nevermind RGM, they(Hendrick) can do more things than most teams can on the circuit. Just the way it is. And when I say ' 20 times the amount" it's 'just a saying'..not a specific number..
So what you're trying to tell us is that Jr. just really sucks if he has all that money behind him.
They are all good.
