dude - what's that? two years in a row now? no good...
What's rain?
I remember that marine layer morning. I don't recall the year, but it was when the race was held in May.

I am going to the Historic Races on Saturday at Infineon just to check things out ahead of the big June 20 event.

Cow, we gotta figure out where we will meet. I am sitting at Turn 9 again this year. Got the Kasey Kahne deal (sorry folks, can't beat the price and the wife works for Bud. A Q and A with Kasey is included and the tickets were just $48 each, plus about that much in service fees, it seems ). Seats are a little low but I bet we can move up later.

Yes we have had rain this year, but I don't see it for 2/3 of the way through June. Just never happens.
I miss the dragging tire concept
I think no track dryers and they drug (dragged?) truck tires to put some heat in the track? I dont recall but that is what this guy thinks. I am putting my engineering degree to some creative use right now. Kinda like putting the snow dish behind the family Rambler.
yes thats it. Those were great to see in person
I guess i must have rembembered correctly then.
Don't see a discussion for the Baja 500 yet, but I heard Robby took one of the Hummers down to Baja for some fun.
Baja 500 discussion thread will be active later tonight. Just getting everything ready for the weekend.
Rain is in the forecast, but the timing uncertain for today.
JJ arrives in Watkins Glen, for paractice for the 6 hour race on SAT., Everybody is running to helicopter pad, you would think the PLAYBOYS bunnies were ariving.
UPDATE from Nascar WxMan: TODAY: Sun & Clouds 80s Qualifying gets in - SAT & SUN Rain likely at times a lot of uncertainty in the forecast
