2010 Pocono 500 Race Weekend Info & Discussion

Join in here and discuss all the weekend action for the 2010 Pocono 500 race. Ted Musgrave will practice & qualify the car on Friday & Saturday.Robby Gordon will race the #7 Speedfactory.tv Toyota on Sunday. Please note, Robby is outside the top 35, so Ted will have to qualify on speed.Here is the weekend schedule for RGM at the Pennsylvania track.

FRIDAY , JUNE 4th

Practice          12:00pm - 1:30 pm/et   ( TV - SPEED )
Qualifying         3:40pm - 6:30 pm/et   ( TV - SPEED )

Did the crew go to Mexico with Robby and leave the car to Ted and Gene? 15 minutes per lap this practice so far. I would have expected Ted to turn at least 6 to 10 laps to get the feel for the car and then make changes.

What is going on? We seriously need a garage cam.

I'm just concerned that Robby might not like the way Ted sets up the car because he has no seat time.

I'm not sure that's even going to matter....it looks like the car is a longshot to even get in the race. And if RG doesn't like the Musgrave setup, what does that really mean? 39th instead of 34th?

TOTAL BOTCH BY THE TEAM! THOSE BASTARDS! But the truth is I actually wasn't even watching qualifying (football practice for the kids that day). I got a text from a friend in NY about PT missing it, which was just hilarious/sad.

Wow. I tell you what boys, the Glass sure is half empty on this thread. Some of you act like they have already loaded up the hauler and are going home. Have a little faith. Both Gene and Ted are professionals. They will get this done.
