We all understand that TOG, but you have to admit with the New sponsor & colors, Baja week and the who's gonna qualify guessing...it was alot of build up for such a let down. We all follow and loev Robby Gordon, and yes it's over and you move on, but it's also so hard to watch people fail that should succeed.

Robby has so much talent...and he won't get to show it sunday.
dig deep and get something that drives ready for MI
It is what it is, Ted did what he could do to try and make it in the race, everyone is so quick to judge and say the season is over, and why did we put Ted in the car. Things happen, and if they dont go the way they should have, you process the information and move on. The season is far from over, this isnt the first time that RGM has failed to qualify for a race, so why all the s*hit talking. After Robby puts in the long hours and fights his way to the finish at the 500, he will work even longer hours at the shop back home to make sure that he gets into the race next weekend, and for the remainder of the season and works his way back into the top 35 in the next few weeks, the Front Row swap cant happen all year, and im sure that Bobby Labonte wont have sponsership all year, so dont fold your hands yet, and throw all your change into the Robbys season is over jar, he and the team will overcome this little hiccup and be just fine
Yes, but it's clear they have taken a step backwards. Why ? Thats all I want to know. Money is tight I know that but they really seem to have lost any path they were on in 06, 07 and 08.
The COT has a large part to do with it.
This isnt the first year with the COT though.
let's everyone just step away from the cliff for a moment. Given RGM's performance this year, it should come as no surprise that this happened. While I was hopeful GN could work some immediate magic, it was probably unfair to place higher expectations on one guy than I did.

Bascially, it would seem there is/are significant chassic issues with the home grown car that continue to begile the team...and it may be awhile before they get a handle on them. However just like the 2005 season, there will be struggles, but RGM will pound through them and come out fine.

Hey, I'm just as dissappointed in the performance thus far as anybody else. I guess I've just decided not to get too wound up about RG's trails and tribulations...instead, just go to the video on my page and pretty soon, you'll be right as rain...
Well said, Slider
Anybody looking for a driver to get excited about should check out Jaime Alguersuari at Circuit Gilles Villenueve next sunday! It's like a breath of fresh air.
Wow... big slide in turn 3... finally seen it on Speed...
Well what a major disapointment, I remember it being stated that the Nascar pays for the off road, I hope the Baja 500 this weekend is worth it. There have been so many times since 2005 that this has been close to happening, and it finally became a reality. Hopefully the next weeks will be better, the person I feel for the most is Randy having to make the drive of shame back to the shop. On a positive note being a RG fan never has it's dull moments, and like others have said there is no way to positively spin this, but RGM will show up to fight another week. Been a RG fan since 93 and will be one again tomorrow, everyone be safe and have a great weekend
Didn't even run a second lap in qualifying after slipping through turn 3 on the first! Awesome!!!

So, I take it RGM actually had no interest in racing on Sunday? Why did they bother to send the car up?
