Nascar.com is reporting that Robby has decided not to run next weekend at New Hampshire because of lack of sponsorship. Robby Gordon Motorsports will be running a car with P.J. Jones only. Is this true!

Too bad 4-Wheel parts doesn't see the value in a partial funding of some races. I mean it's not like NASCAR fans don't own trucks.

Especially if it was a co-op with Speed Factory... Afterall, half of Speed Factory is covering their off-road efforts.
So true. We don't have any deserts up here, but there's a shitload of snow in the winter, and mud in the fall and spring. Tons of 4-wheel drive trucks all over the place up here.
Hey you two, stop making sense!
This is heart breaking! :(
Heart breaking would be closing the shop. This is a bump in the road.
I've heard it mentioned other places that NHS is a hard race to sell sponsorship. Just noticed that there is only 42 entries for the NNS race.
With Danica in town, and with a such a male dominated sport, you would think Kleenex would want to be at the track....LMAO
I've heard that too, but don't really understand it. The track is out in the sticks, and the traffic sucks on race day, but I don't think that's too different from a lot of the other tracks on the circuit. The races have almost always sold out - 100,000 or so capacity. It draws fans from all of New England, as well as NY and Canada.

Can anyone explain the problem?
Companies have ad budgets and they stick to them. What we see as " it's only 1 more race, should be easy for a company to add " , they see it differently.

On a side note, I have been working with a few companies that are going to break into racing this weekend & next weekend in the K & N filters series. Much cheaper to do, but hopefully it leads to their involvement into the next level, and RG is included in those plans if they elect to take it up a notch.
Damn. This just moved everything from my "Things I should have been doing" list to my "Things I Have To Do Because I'm Out of Excuses Not To" list.
Surprised the BAM deal worked as long as it did.
there are alot of things in the works, so its hard to say.
