Nascar.com is reporting that Robby has decided not to run next weekend at New Hampshire because of lack of sponsorship. Robby Gordon Motorsports will be running a car with P.J. Jones only. Is this true!
Buy a planet robby t-shirt..$20...thats the way for Planet members to help out. Dont feel like its enough ? Buy 2 or 3 ...lol...Thanks to those who have already, and to those who picked some up this weekend at the trailer.
I would buy another shirt! I would also buy more of his merchanise if it were available through his online store as well. There seem to be a lot more available at the track when he is able to send the hauler to the tracks. 2 out of the 3 races I've been to this year he didn't send the hauler, so if more was available online it would be easier to help RGM out! I know it's all about the dollar to send the hauler out since they get charged a lot of money to bring them to some of the tracks it doesn't help his fans out not to be able to purchase his stuff.
Speedfactory stuff will be available probably this week via online store. I know it was in the trailer at Infineon. Front page, left side of this site has some new items available for order.
Or you can buy mine from me for a discount of $15 a piece. Never out of the package, and obviously won't be, as we won't be wearing them in NH this weekend. $$ will go to offset my costs of traveling 10 hours to NOT see Robby race.
I mean, I have had no problem putting out $100 to $120 bucks a ticket for good tickets to a game/race. I would get much more satisfaction knowing I helped put one of my all time favorite people in the game. I would have no problem donating $200 or more shirt or no shirt, even though I just lost my job.
This would also send a strong message to would-be sponsors on how loyal we really are. Robby Nation. Let's try to pull it off!
Hey TOG, is there any chance that Robby could be using some strategy to pull more money from Monster, especially since rival sponsor Red Bull has the 83 possibly available for a driver for the rest of the year? I wished Robby would of mentioned not racing at NH on the TNT broadcast, it has a bigger audience meaning possibly more sponsors watching.
