2010 Chicagoland 400 Race Info & Discussion

Join in here and discuss all the weekend action for the 2010 Chicagoland 400 cup race.Robby Gordon will drive the #7 Mapei/Menards Toyota.This weekend's schedule is somewhat different,as all practice & qualifying will be held in one day,and the race the following evening.Here is schedule for RGM at the Illinois track.

FRIDAY , JULY 9th

Practice           12:30pm - 2:00 pm/et   ( 42nd Quickest )
Practice 2          3:15pm - 4:00 pm/et   ( 30th Quickest )

Practice Live Leaderboard

FRIDAY , JULY 9th

Qualifying           6:00pm - 8:00 pm/et   ( Starting 38th )

SATURDAY , JULY 10th

Raceday           7:00 pm/et , greenflag at 7:46 pm/et ( TV - TNT )

With all of these changes made to the intermediate car, let us know when the car passes inspection. Today's a big day with all of the practice and qualifying. This is an impound race right? I've looked everywhere but could not confirm this but with everything taking place in one day I expect that it would be. Then again there is a large Polish population in Chicago.

I'm 1/2 Polish so I can make that comment

Yep, it's a crazy schedule. Gonna be down there for Cup practice in a lil bit. But no, it's not an impound.
BTW: Chi is the largest Polish pop. outside of Warsaw. I'm 3/4 Polski myself, the food is dangerously good.

By the way, if Vegas gets two races that would be the bomb!!!! This place would go crazy!!!!! Can you say big ol party at Tooltimes house TOG?

Bobby Labonte will continue driving the #09 at Chicago and Indy. Guess the RGM deal for a second car at the Brickyard didn't work out

09 Labonte (PCP-1) *Can use a PCP
21 Elliott (PCP-2) *Can use a PCP if Labonte makes it on speed, if Labonte needs the PCP Elliott would DNQ
32 Bliss 43rd fastest
55 McDowell 42nd fastest

Running a decent amount of laps in the first practice. Since this is a night race, this practice is more about getting your car to drive good. Q trim in the next practice session.
