Nah, it was Bobby Labonte. He didn't want to share the past champion provisional.
You have got to be kidding me. Nothing he could do - Robby. He stood on his brakes when all he had to do was release them and gone high then no worries. He shouldn't have even needed a spotter for that. I would rather have a side lick any day than T-Bone somebody.

I posted this on another thread. However it may help BRR with this hasty judgment. I don't remember hearing anything from spotter. However, the car would not turn left. It was plowing center of turn. Almost think his front shock(s) were colapsing under heat. Who knows, moment b4 he locked 'em, he might've been screwin with brake bias.

On a personal note BRR: If you really believe RG totaled a car his shop just invested time & $$$ in (BRAND NEW front clip) you really should make an appt for a CT Scan. Detonated a motor, maybe, ram somebody elses car @ 100mph....you need help.
Hey dude, it's not personal and yes I don't know what he was screwing with inside the car. I am just very suprised that he couldn't miss that one that's all. With Robby's sponsorship situation I know damn well that he didn't total the car on purpose. I was reacting to the "nothing he could do" statement. There was room to get by high and low but he stood on the brakes and went right straight into Elliott. The dang things don't drive very well when you lock the brakes up.

On a personal note Mike: Don't take it personally.

People take things too seriously here? C'mon, you gotta be kidding!
I always get my daily dose of laughter from this site, no matter what is said haha
I think Robby was finally gaining the respect of his peers.Hope the on track action Sat evening doesn't hurt his rep too bad.
I don't like saying this but he already has a bad rep. the non robby fans (or flat out haters) still thinks he wrecks drivers on purpose every week. and he has pissed off some drivers over the years, he may have been forgiven if he was in his 20's but since he's getting late into his career I don't think that respect will fully be gained. Even if he does win a race again.
Spinning Elliott was a great example of Robby's psychokinetic prowess.
I know! Really! A couple more years of practice and I bet Robby can spin all the competitors with his mental powers! Curtis Turner did it once - the only car still running after the rest of the field crashed out. RG will do it for multiple races in a couple of years, and own the freakin trophy forever!!! 11 !!
Use the Force, Robby....
AFTER LOOKING AT ALL THE INFO, I THINK THAT THE LIGHT FROM THE SUNDOWN & TRACK LITS HIDE ELLIOT FOR A VERY SHORT TIME & ROBBY DID NOT SEE THE CAR SOON ENOUGH !!!
