Sir Alex thanks again
so who are you guys hearing will be in the 71?
Mike Bliss or Andy Lally
Kinda what I was figuring.
So with the Menards and SpeedFactory logos on the front page, can we expect a combo car at the Brickyard? Menards on the quarterpanels and SF on the hood?
It will be a different paint scheme this weekend, but Speedfactory is the primary and menards is the associate.
I thought for sure there would be a primary sponsor (not SF) on the car this weekend. Doesn't bode well for a lot of other smaller races if RG can't land a full sponsor for the Brickyard. With this comment, I'm assuming running as a Speed Factory car, still means it's an out of pocket race. Hoping I'm wrong and there are some new dollars behind Speed Factory....either way, hoping for a good finish.
I agree. The Brickyard is huge. I just don't get it. Robby is a better driver than half the field out there on any given weekend. Maybe it's time for RG to maybe put another driver (who can bring sponsorship) and for him to take a full time seat with another cup team. Just like Dale Sr. did. Robby needs to get back to racing. Period. It's just not working. If you keep running at the back, no sponsor is gonna jump on board. It's that whole chicken and egg thing....What comes first?...It's been 5 years now, so he has a had better run than most. As a die hard RG fan, I will support whatever he does, but to be honest, I'm getting sick of watching him run 30th and back. Robby used to be a guy that if he finished 15th, he'd freak out. Now, a 15th would be like a win. It sucks. I went to Michigan with 120,000 other fans, and I couldn't even buy a damn hat, shirt, decal, nothing. Fans can only put so much hope into a good finish for so long. I'd say the last 2 seasons has said it all. NASCAR is for sure not helping small teams. It's time to cut the losses Robby and get a decent seat before it's too late. I'm not trying to be negative, it just the reality of it from a fan's point of view.
For not trying your doing a good job........Just busting your bells. Hang in there Sean.
Lol. I've been "hanging in there" since Feb. 2005.
If you watch episode 7 of Speedfactory the end is very telling....... Robby just needs the support of his fans, he understands where his Race Team is at right now........ I personnaly don't anticipate more of the same old same old for much longer.....My prediction is that a BIG change is in the works...some how some way I think Robby is over being a back marker and would like some seasons of legititmate top 10 runs........

Absent Brian Vickers...The Red Bull driver line-up is about as Un-inspiring and Unimpressive as I've ever seen from a Top Dollar race team.......no offense to Monster...but Robby would look REALLY REALLY good in a Red Bull car for 36 races......he would look better in a Monster car for 36 races..but Red Bull would be nice also......either a third team or Robby and RGM would be a HUGE upgrade to the 83 team..........just thinking outloud....
Well said. I don't you're that far off.
