That's impossible. Robby already had a relationship with Red Bull. It's over. He's under contract with Monster Energy. Why even entertain the thought of Red Bull? Robby tried to land Red Bull for a Cup team in 2004 for 2005 and the deal fell through. Forget Red Bull. It's over. Brian Vickers is an awesome race car driver and Red Bull has no intentions of letting him go. Where do people come up with this crap? I'm as big of fan of Robby as you can get. I've seen pretty much every race he's been in since the season opener in the PPG IndyCar World series in 1995. I hate to say this, but Robby made his own bed in 2004 when he decided to go out on his own for '05. He has done extremely well competing against powerhouse teams. But after 5 years in, he does not have a 2 car team and not even have enough sponsorship to cover a 1 car team. It's time to get a ride with someone else for next year or come up with big money from the end of the rainbow. He made his own bed and now he has to lay in it.
Speculation. We love speculation.
He is going to drive the #48 next year for Hendrick
Oh. My head movies told me he was returning to RCR as the 4th car with full sponsorship from the Discovery Channel. Kind of like the Warner Music deal but with actual money.
The head movies make my eyes rain..LOL..Tropic Thunder
Seat swap with JJ? HA HA
Unfortunately for Robby, he started his team at the start of the recession. And now NASCAR's popularity is starting to lose steam, so there won't be a lot of sponsors looking to jump into the sport. It seems unusual, because Robby's never had any problem digging up sponsors who had never been in the sport (Fruit of the Loom), and yet drivers like Gilliland (Taco Bell) and Kvapil (Long John Silvers) have been sponsored regularly.

But what's really unusual is that Robby's not at the heart of any bad animosity such as you see between Edwards and Keselowski. So far, I haven't had to defend Robby to my buddies on a single incident this year! It's great to see Robby run without event, (as long as he moves up), but I miss the crazy, take no prisoners, guy.

Can't wait for Watkins Glen.
Taco Bell & Long Johns are only on the car because the car owner owns those franchises.
Wasnt Robby supposed to have some sponsor from his past on the hood this weekend? I thought I read that on here, I originally guessed Johns Manville and was told it was a different past sponsor. Did that fall through? Or is it part of the partial Menards sponsorship for the weekend?
Both Menards and Speedfactory have been the primary in the past. Menards will be an associate most likely on the quarterpanels. And sponsors may have rearranged what races they will be on when Monster backed away from Nascar.
People need to understand, Robby has had to call many audibles this year as far as his schedule. Sponsorship & funding that was in place, is no longer in place ( Bam, etc )
No. People assumed Johns Manville and I told him they weren't on the car. Speedfactory primary, menards as an associate.
