Say it isn't so! Thomas Bowles is reporting that Bruton may try to move the Infineon date to Vegas. Wouldn't make much sense to me to cut out the nations 5th largest market, and particularly when Auto Club will be down to one race next season.

no way. All the money teams have invested in road course cars,I just dont see Nascar only having 1 road race on the schedule.
if this is true this will suck for RG and the fans from one of RG better tracks to a not so good track for RG
2 is more than enough. IF Sears Point was EVER dumped, a new road course would replace it. I hear there's one going up in Austin.
TMS has a hard time drawing people now that the novilty has worn off. I can't see having another race about 100 south
If the France family is building it, count on Sears Point getting cut.
i'm not sure where the thought process is here.
Neither is NASCAR.
Never was a fan of road course racing until I became an RG fan. However, I think even if I wasn't a fan, I would rather watch a road course than a mile and half.
Ditto
The one in Austin is F1 course
WINNER WINNER!!
That could open the door for a future race at Road Atlanta (wishful thinking), but I do not see that happening. Bowles is a Boob.
