Not if running in an event sponsored by HellaGood
Heluva Good! is delicious.
Not a bad move, hoping the #07 takes up a spot in the field and keeps the #26 or #38 out of the show. I would assume if the #07 is a DNQ that RG would just bounce over to the #7 for the race. Ah well.

Unless someone is bringing a nice one race sponsor I don't see why it would be anyone other than PJ Jones in the #7 to start the weekend.

And Larry Carter is back with RGM? Permanent, or is he just going to CC the #07 this weekend?
Larry has been spotting for RG,but has also been in the garage on the weekend. He has been helping.
If the TBA driver was PJ, I think that it would have been on the entry list already. I would be shocked it it was Stremme (no way). The only logical explaination in my mind is that Robby wants a veteran driver in the 7 car to provide feedback. This way the vet is locked in and can run the full race. There has been some talk that Terry Labonte wanted to run some races this year, I would venture to guess that either Terry or Mikey will be the driver of the 7 car this weekend.
Plus he has his dad backing him.
Bring Ricky Rudd out of retirment. Maybe tide will come back for one race lol. He was always my idol until he retired. He is a past champion. He won Michigan 2 or 3 times I think. What are the odds of this happening lol?
Speedfactory.tv is the sponsor on both cars...already stated several times...
if it's anyone other than PJ this will be really fun to watch this weekend...if it's PJ...I don't get the charades and guessing game. Why bother even switching numbers unless you don't believe he has the ability to qualify the car in on speed, if that's the case, then why have him in the car if he can't qualify. No offense PJ fans, but I hope it's not PJ. The excitement is building and that would be a major let down.
(I'm not a PJ hater. I like PJ and think he does a solid job on road courses for RGM)
BigZoom, you might be right, PJ is cheaper than anyone else. I have listened to PJ's radio a few times and 2 different times it has came up that PJ and Robby didnt even talk about what he is going to make before the race. So if PJ is cheap and Robby believes he has a better shot at qualifying then your scenario definitely works. cheapest and best shot at geting both cars into a race that pays a lot.
The list is long. With all the variables that come into play insiders know who is "not getting in the car". Keeping that in mind one variable that I know of is who do you know/trust/can pay/is available/and is open to Toyota. I ball all this into one due to the fact that if you loose one variable you loose them all, thus possible drivers are a group that are just ...possible not probable. But drivers that are "not" are not. What does all that mean? Nothing, but what I am saying is that if Aric Almirola is open to drive a Chevy and Toyota he would be a competent pilot. however I think it will be a driver that runs minimal laps that does not finish the race. However if there is a loophole in the rules that allows drivers to switch cars after both are qualified I think Robby might exploit it. I looked real quick can't find it.
Let's get Johnny Benson!!!
its ken schrader
