yha i don't get why they keep putting P.J in the car there are alot of other drivers that have sponsorship. also i like P.J but really he isn't that good of a driver. and he probably won't be a start and park because he is driving the 7
really ? There are alot of drivers out there with sponsorship just itching to buy a ride ? if there were, they would have made deals already.
that or robby may just be qualifying the 07 to get it in the show then they will switch and start at the back of the pack( witch they wont be loosing alot)
PJ in the 7? Doesnt sound like a good way of trying to keep the car in the top 35
I don't know, having two cars to get info from is going to pay off hopefully in the long run so why not.
Has anyone considered that the reason why Robby is qualifying the 07 is because if he doesn't get it into the show , that he feels it's better to have a DNQ rather than be a S&P ? I'm not saying he won't get in , but this year it seems anything goes in Nascar . Who are we to try and figure out what is going through Robby's mind ? He's the man with the plan , we just tune in to see if it works out the way he wants it to . This weekend will be interesting, stay tuned , if you blink you might miss something . =)
I'm with you. Robby is one of the smartest cats in the the business. He always lands on his feet. Watching to see what Robby does this weekend is going to be more interesting than watching the rest of the race.

Gas on Robby!
Robby has a reason for everything he does. Sometimes they work, sometimes they dont . I know everything else in life outside nascar goes smoothly, like doctors performing 100% successful surgeries and teachers graduating students at 100% clips, so its easy to judge Robby when the rest of society is so damn perfect.
It's a dog eat dog world we live in , with the economy being what it is , you gotta do whatever you can to make money so you can survive . One of the things I like the most about Robby is that he's always thinking and planning of ways to keep his business on solid ground . Sure , things don't always work out the way he wants , but he never gives up , and he just comes up with another plan . Just because we don't understand why he's doing something , it doesn't mean it won't work itself out in the end .
But we don't know the reasons why he does what he does; Robby doesn't share his thoughts with us and so we don't know if things are going according to his plans. So, that leaves us armchair drivers, owners, and crew chiefs to our continued speculations. Robby likely had a driver who he thought would do well for him in the 7 and then entered the 07 as a S&P for PJ; when this driver couldn't do it Robby then has to drive the 07 as the S&P knowing that PJ might not make it in. More seat time for PJ is a good thing. Robby said he would never drive a S&P so he either runs the whole race with the 07 or swaps with PJ after qualifying. The latter might not be a good idea as it sets a precedent (if it is actually allowed) that the other teams might adopt later (e.g., the stippy mobile). Us fans are tough, so Robby shouldn't feel bad about telling us what happened or his logic- he might find that openness would endear him to more fans. Of course, we will probably never know. So go 07 and 7, whoever is driving, and let's get some points (and money)!
i hate to sound like a downer, but i can see nothing good coming out of this. Robby u are the man but u really need to take a step back ans reevaluate things at RGM
Generating income. Very simple.
