Robby better go hire a new crew chief tomorrow. Don't fire Walter, but get another CC in there now to advise. One more week of this and RG is going to be writing refund checks like POS was. Either that or he needs to barrow a few of the 7 engineers from HOF. Barrow Hyder from BAM or something!
"I'm not a kid, I'm an adult. I can vote and join the service. The United States government thinks I'm an adult and thats what I go with."
I read this whole curse filled, negative post....and I laughed hardest at that. Maturity, responsibility, and what you base judgement on (I.E. Right Vz. Wrong) has a pretty good impact on what makes an adult. Now basing being an adult off the government, that's just plain comical. If you thought 18 years magically you you into an adult, your in for a life shock shortly.

You are the age of majority. That means you may enter into legal contracts, buy lottery tickets, cigarettes, adult entertainment films...yes, you may even join the service. But take it from those of us that recall being 18 and from someone who has been teaching 18 year olds since before you were even born, you are not an adult. Legally, if you wish to play the government angle, you are...but remember it's for their benefit they call you an adult. Your parents lose their tax credit on their income taxes the year you turned 17. Why aren't you an adult then? Can you go into a tavern, club, bar, whatever you want to call it and buy you and your other 18 year old buddies a drink? That's an adult pastime for some isn't it? The reason you can't is because the governemnt says you do not have the mental judgement/emotional maturity for such activities yet. So now you aren't an adult are you? Do yourself a favor...enjoy your youth and don't try to rush it and prove yourself to a bunch of people much older than you that you are an adult, it'll never work.
Don't ever question my maturity. When all my friends were out drinking and having a good time I was home, studying my ass off to get into college. Please, do ask around about my maturity. I run a racing league in which guys that are into their 30's race and I have never had a problem and even some of them call me sir. Believe me, I'm an adult, I pay for college myself, I don't have mommy and daddy help me. So if you wanna call me a kid go ahead, but the fact is, I'm not acting immature, its the rest of you guys that have blinders on and think Robby and the team can do no wrong.
Time to land an Indy Car ride since the old 7 car will be out of the top 35 in week(s). For the past 3 years, the last 10 races have been a freefall for RGM, he's usually in 26th place at Richmond and then drops to the low 30s. Pretty sad on the drivers / teams that are handing it to RGM, says a lot about RGM's business / leadership skills, nice guy but clueless in running an organization.
You want me to ask sim racers how mature you are? Are you serious...you cant be. When your an adult, you dont have to tell anybody you are one, its a given.
Your giving us reasons your an adult is defeating the purpose. Your doing what is expected of you, and wanting a title (or atleast people to be proud of you). Part of being an adult is doing that, and more, without merit or saying "Look what I did".
Paying for college yourself? You realize how many people do that, and usually more like raise a kid.
All you friends going out drinking, and having a good time and you stayed home? I assume they were drinking mountain dew or something because unless you have a plethora of friends over 21 they cant legally but alcohol. Again, your asking for a pat on the back for something that you should do already.
Like I said before, its about knowing right from wrong. The fact that you were so arrogant in your response tells most of us all we need to know. Seems like you have build all these reasons up in your head to prove to yourself your an adult, but heed the advise of people older than you.
