Like most of you, I hate to see the way the things have been going lately. I see the same thing weekly, decent in practice, struggle in qualifying, decent in Happy Hour, start decent in first few laps, then "Loose"...from there on it's downhill.

Listening to the scanner, Walter & Robby seem to communicate well. Walter seems to know what the car needs based on the feedback given.

However, if you listen to other drivers on the scanner and even Larry McReynolds, Tim Brewer and others, Robby is NOT the only driver struggling with the COT. Kurt Busch, Elliott Sadler and others have struggled just as bad. The biggest difference is the racing luck. Robby got the car dialed in okay last week at Bristol, but got caught in somebodys wreck...it happens...it's Bristol. Fuel mileage has created alot of Robby's problems, he seems to have to pit a lap or 2 sooner than most and a caution comes out, or like last night he needs a caution and it doesn't come out until the leader gets by him.

It's not just one thing! It's racing luck, figuring out the COT, Dodge is way behind this year, bad fuel mileage, new crew chief, etc. It's a recipe that equals these results. One bright spot is plate racing: a 6th, 8th and 11th and plate tracks. Talladega is coming up soon!

I know several have posted let's send an email to a potentila sponsor, or a thank you to sponsors who have joined Robby this season. WHAT ABOUT SENDING AN EMAIL TO RGM, TO ROBBY...AS HIS FANS (THE BEST OUT THERE!) WE ARE BEHIND YOU AND WE SUPPORT YOU! Get some positive energy flowing through the shop. Robby needs us now more than ever. It's easy to jump onboard when everything is going well, but real fans show their support in the darkest hours.

I know, as a Alabama Crimson Tide fan. We have had years of coaches, embarassing losses and controversy, but it made it all so much sweeter on Saturday when we rolled #9 Clemson and held two All-American running backs to 20 rushing yards! We finally were able to stand tall and yell "Roll Tide Roll!"

Robby will bounce back and it will be great to see him back in victory lane!

ROBBY GORDON FANS STAND TALL AND SHOW YOUR SUPPORT! Buy Monster products like crazy! Drink Jim Beam! and shop at Menards! but most of all let RGM know...We're Here to Stay!

How long have you been "Pissing and moaning" is it working yet? Im a wake forest fan, pissing and moaning doesn't realy do anybody any good! I mean wake has sucked for years, at most sports. I could have complained for years but it seems like a waste of time. We all know what we see every week, we know what we want to see every week. I don't think that all the pissing and moaning is doing anything but getting on peoples nerves. I realy don't see a positive in it, if you need someone to bitch to go see a therapist.
If your going to only be positive all the time, your not a real fan. You can't be happy when your driver finishes 35th or worse each week. If you are, I think Robby would even say your crazy.
There is a huge difference between being positive all the time and bitching all the time. Makes you wonder what to bitch about on a good week? did you read the part about us all knowing what we are seeing and knowing what we want to see? I don't think anyone likes these finishes, I am not happy when any of my teams loose. However, complianing for a season doesn't make me feel any better!
With most of these people I can see why the uprising fell apart. Too much ass kissing going on. Everyone feels they cannot upset Chris or any other RGM members aboard, when the fact of the matter is, the team has sucked. I'm sure they would agree they haven't been performing as well as they had hoped. I can't see why the fans cannot realize that. I want Robby to do as well as the next guy, but you have to be real about whats going on. Its like the 25% of people that think the country has improved the last 8 years, is it really true that they believe that, or is it just what they want to believe. Does everyone just want to believe that Robby and Walter are the greatest CC and Driver known to man without seeing any positive results?
this is the philosophy of that "Rose colored glasses shit again" it's funny to me how trying to be positive about things is considered not a valid way to look at things and is disregarded as just not seeing reallity, but being the negative is okay. There is a happy medium, I live in it every week. I think that Robby is one of the most talented drivers on the track, I don't see why you would ask that question. nobody is going to be the best all the time. If you are going to question ability of your driver, why be a fan. I know things are bad right now but I know that Robby is talented if I didn't beleive that I wouldn't be here. That and the fact that I like his attitude and the way he goes about things the way he wants and doesn't give a damn what enybody thinks.
The perfomance of the #7 has been absolutely abysmal this season. The only driver to start every race and still be behind RG in points, is Hornish, and it's less than twenty points. And for all the people that find some type of triumph and victory when finishing ahead of Michael Waltrip, he's ahead of Robby in points.

RGM has had sponsor issues all season long, unless people think throwing a wrap on at the last minute is okay. Teams with more going for them than RGM at this point, are having issues with sponsors.

Four of the next five races are at "good" tracks for RG, so that's a reason for hope. But five of the next seven races have no sponsor announced?

Why would a sponsor line up for the #7 if they fall out of the top 35? Jim Beam has some prior investment in Robby Gordon, but its getting pretty late for them to not have already come on board for 2009. Monster didn't even pony up for Sears Point like all the insiders were certain they would. Are they going to pony up to counter the presence and success of Red Bull, NOS and Amp?

Its hard to be excited about going into 2009 if you're just counting on a Menard or GEM hand out to be on the hood for 25 to 30 races.

Some people here have no ability to distinguish between RG and RGM either. Its comical. For some reason if you point out that RGM is the weakest full time team in Cup, you're not a real fan of RG. Or if you point out the shortcomings of RGM at this point, then you're somehow "jumping ship".
I'm a Robby fan no matter what - you figure our what you want 'what' to be. He's dealt with crap before, he'll deal with it again, he's a racer. All is well. Stop being such a bunch of pussies.
DANG! I just wanted all us fans to unite and get some positive energy flowing around our Beam Team, our Monster Mash, and our "Stay Out of Our Yard!" Menard's Crew!

Like Mike, I'm tired of the screw this and fire Walter crap. While we're all sitting in front of our 42" HDTV flat screens watching the race, thses guys are pouring blood, sweat and guts into this team!

Just like RGM....his fans ARE HERE TO STAY!
DAMN! you have a HDTV flat screen???
I like the "Stay out of our Yard" Menard's crew... It's true that RG isn't having much luck this year, but, continual bitching about it isn't going make things better. Might piss off the Karma fairy you know. Besides, one of the reasons I heard that RuR was shut down was that sponsors and potential sponsors seeing "fans" spouting off negativity constantly after every run and any decision that was made. So, if you are a fan of RG, and you want to see him get new sponsors, opportunities, and to make positive progress, then abide by the old adage "If you don't have anything nice to say...don't say anything" (your negativity may even make matters worse).
Cant we all just get along??? lol I've read many pertinent, and some not so pertinent crap on here. But as Mike said, unless we are in those Monday morning post race meetings, we all need to be supportive. We just dont know what goes on in there. Of course, we should be free to express feelings as well as bounce ideas off of one another. We are FANS, thats what we do. Have fun and hope for the best.
Just my two cents worth.
Thanks
Exactly
