Robby Gordon will run the #07 Mapei/Menards Toyota in the Nationwide series this weekend at Montreal. Robby will have to qualify in on speed, but they do use rain tires in case it gets wet. They also use the 'timed' group qualifying session, so Robby will be able to run a 'safe' lap before giving it a go on his latter laps. This will be a full race effort. Clear your weekend schedule!

Ooh a new # from his original 55. Maybe this can bring a different outcome for Robby next weekend.
I was happy with the outcome in 07 I don't know about you but that was the best race ever!
OHhh is car #07 mean revenge from 07 I will pretend that it does. Ya I am drinking on a week day so what.
Hopefully there will be 43 or less cars entered so he can focus on race trim only during the practices but with the group qualifying as you said TOG he can put a safe one down then go balls to the wall and hope for a top 5 starting spot.
Well the weekend schedule consists of an 80 person, two team scramble Ryder Cup format golf tournmaent Friday in Saratoga....then all day drink fest/gambling fest on Saturday for the Travers up there....

But Sunday is recover with a little of the hair of the dog and watch Robby win day!!!
Why the change in car number?
I'm thinking a little dig at the NW #7, and staking a claim a bit.
Which would be bad-ass.
I thought about the staking a claim thing. Makes sense since it is available to keep numbers similar.
I saw the Number Change a week ago and wondered if it was True , I like it . Also Love the Qual . Format the Nationwide Series Uses on Road Courses , I Really Can't Wait ! !
It is a big week for us coming up here....Practicing all week for pit stops and looking forward to getting up there and showing up some of thses fully funded teams for a week.
I'll say as little as I can about this weeks race in canada....trust me it's better that way. So here goes first round.
