This is a little far-fetched, but I think it would be really cool if Chevy and Robby teamed up and created a Robby Gordon signature series Silverado ZR2 to compete against the Ford Raptor.  The Raptor is selling really well so far.  Dodge has the concept Ram Runner, and last time I checked, Toyota was working on a Ivan Stewart signature series Tundra (Long travel version).

It would be nothing like the Silverado ZR2 that was at Sema last year, and they could just leave everything up to Robby!!

To stir the pot a little, Chevy fans are really loyal but nobody keeps the front suspension for off roading. You see straight axles or custom multi links. A signature series would be cost prohibitive to do right or would just be cosmetic which wouldn't interest Robbie. His trucks may have Chevy engines and body panels but there's nothing GM else on it.
I've always thought it was cool how Robby had different brands, under the RGM Banner.
Keith, I understand what you mean. While i dont care for toyota, i do pull for Robby regardless.
Bruce, I do realize that, though it is nice that he uses LS engines in some of his vehicles. I never liked IFS anyways, but it was about time that GM ditched the torsion bars in '07-present 1/2 tons. I figured if Ford could do it with the raptor, then why couldnt Chevy do it? Just a thought, and like I said, if Ivan Stewart could work with toyota, then it would be the same for Robby and Chevy.
it would give me a reason to buy a new truck
I'd buy one- Robby Gordon Edition Z71!!!
I wanted to buy a RG edition polaris rzr but they dont make it in a 2 seat version only 4 that im aware of. My polaris dealer wanted to sell me an atomic orange 2 seater, i told him to call me when theres a 2seat RG edition cause im that much of a fan. as for a truck ill never buy a new one but an RG chevy would be awsome, the raptor is pretty cool to but useless where i live.
why is the Raptor useless, it is the most capable 4x4s around.
only because i live near the adirondack mtns its all hard woods were i am so i couldnt use the truck for what it was meant for. other wise i would own one. plus i dont think it can be used for plowing snow. i get about 10'-12' a year
i think Rg should do it with the old CK body style....like his TT,

Yup, i love those years better than new
This would be pretty simple to accomplish. Nothing on any of Robby's trucks are OEM. The body is basically a carbon fiber shell which can be replaced with a new shell minimal effort.
??? Im not talking about a race truck here, but a street version like the Raptor.
