he was running 2nd, less than 20 seconds from the top spot before he broke. But you know, you have to have no issues nowadays to win these races. Different game, fo sho.
When it comes to Trophy Truck Robbys name comes up always as the one to beat but there are many others that are right there. Like TOG said you have to have no issues to win. That sucks he never used to have tranny issues until this year.
Not true.
there were issues in previous years, correct ?
What I mean is that is 2 trannys this year he has broken. Years past it has been other things and not 2 trannys but hey thats part of the game.
RG has run the win or break strategy for years. He is the defending Score champ. He's still the truck to beat.
RG ground up a tranny at around MM50 on the second lap. Was! in the top 5 first lap.
The Primm does NOT allow ANY chase so if you have a problem during the race that you cant fix on your own, or limp to a pit or the main Your DUN DONE. This is a BLM rule to keep the dust to a min. becaouse of the I 15 freeway. When we raced it in the 90's the freeway ALMOST was shut down from the dust inversion...
HooooWell Got a photo with Robby and my 12 year old son while he was at the TI trailer just before the race. Watched the whole days racing behind Bills casino on the hill, FUN!
I think Robby should have J&H do his tranny's http://www.bumpracer.com/jhtrans.htm
Many of the Torc racer's use his and they last all season
