New Nascar game

Dont know how many of you guys are into Video Games but Activision and Eutechnyx announced that they are creating a new game that is due out in February. This is the frist game in 2 years with the last one being Nascar 09. The game looks pretty good to me.

Game looks 'okay', but it looks to me like it will be arcade...not true sim.

I will wait to see the trailer on Sunday, but I think I will be sticking with iRacing.

a Speedfacty car? Monster....somthing?????? My favorite is being RG in Nascar 05 and wrecking the entire feild on lap one,,,,,then lapping the entire feild 10 times by lap 50 at Bristol or Martinsville. Then I get board and play Dirt 2 from cockpit view and race the classic Toyota. I can dream cant I

I like the arcade style games. I dont have the time to "get into" the real good games.
(kids and 2 jobs doesnt give me alot of time)

Agree it will be interesting to see if the 7 car is in it. It wasnt in Nascar 09 for some reason. Anybody know why?

Yeah, I'll be getting the Wii version, and can't invest the time in learning a detailed sim game. I will say that the NASCAR Karts game on Wii was lame - Mario Karts was much better for a similar kind of game.

That would be a great addition in career mode. You have a promising career going, work your way up the ranks, run for a few big teams, then decide to go it alone. After several years of moderate success with your own team, the only way to pay the bills is to S&P or put another driver in your own car that brings a sponsor with him. A very realistic part of the sport these days...unfortunately!
