This is a good deal. Robby is driving the 7 car, he qualifed and can beat the 38 here. Conway sucks but at least he gave up the ride for Robby. Now Robby has a a chance to gain ground on the 71 and 38. I go back and forth, but at least Robby is racing and lives for at least another week.

I will check posts but in Brasil they could care less about nascrap so it won't be on. Man, the women are f'n smokin down here, Robby should just have a brasilian chick in a thong on his hood of an unsponsered car, redneck nation would even applaud that ride.
Love them girls down there
For those who want to support KC all the way, particularity the "It took JPM 3 years" guys....take a listen to your boy about this track.

Sure, drivers should be confident but to him its not blind confidence, "one of the tracks I have the most laps at". Yes, he missed the field by .2 of a second, but lets keep that in perspective. He was slower than four other drivers, who he is consistently out qualified by (Nemechek, Bliss, Mears) and one who is making random cup starts with far less COT experience than him (Leffler).

Dont we usually talk about the GOGH cars being separated in the tenths of seconds to start with, so clearly its not a place where close is gonna cut it. You need to run a flawless lap to make these races or have better equipment or more talent to make up for something you lack. Its no longer good enough to hope one car messes up. Conway has driven for Nemechek in Nationwide, Joe puts quality cars on the track in that series and Kevin did well. Obviously he knows what he is looking for in a car and didnt find it at FRM or RGM. That said, it would appear he lacks the talent and ability to get better equipment to make up for what he lacks.

In all honesty, the guy was playing magical chairs at FRM to keep him in the field. Looking at what he has done with the 7 and you could make the case he has nearly drove 4 cars out of the top 35 this year. Common denominator is him, I hope he walks into his "ROTY" and never finds a team so sponsor desperate to allow him to sink the operation. Sadly, with the climate of Nascar that just wont ever happen.
It's laughable that anyone ever compare Conway to Juan Pablo. Juan Pablo is a racing legend who has won in everything he has driven. Juan Pablo will be spoken of decades from now, for his talent.

Conway will be a footnote, long forgotten by all but the most anal, on par with Shawna Robinson.

That's just the way it is. There is no reason to believe that he will ever actually qualify a car for a Cup race without falling back on owners points.
The driver you have been bitching about not driving the #7 lately is back int he seat and folks are still bitching.
"the beatings will continue until morale improves!"
I love that quote!!
Yes the beating will continue yes they will
That's the funny thing, TOG! No one's every happy. Just ask my ex! ;)
I am just surprised that folks on this site actually believed that Kevin could qualfiy the 07 car in the first place. Many were calling for PJ before the day began for a realistic shot at getting the 07 in the field. Fact is, it really doesn't matter if KC qualified or not. If he did he would have bumped Jeff Green in the 64 car. If the 38 was the bubble car, then all of these comments would have been justified. So what if KC didn't qualify? One less obstacle on the track tomorrow night. RG was already locked in as was the other 2 FRM cars so I expect that none of those teams put any real effort into qualifying. 2 practice sessions later today and we will see how RG runs then. Just looking forward to the split screen on Saturday night now that Robby is running a full race (ABC on one side and the Phillies on the other).
Hey all, it's the race that counts. RG will have a good run and gain points.
RG is going to get a top 25 and live another week
