Tog started this thread as a race discussion, so lets talk about the car and driver that is in for this race. I am stoked to see that RG is in the car and am looking forward to this race.As far as Micheal M. and his get in a better mood pictures, I am always in a great mood ( but the pictures are awsome haha ) So lets talk about the COT hotrod's going to be in and who the hell is spoting???.............IMO
I really don't understand all the complaining and KC bashing. Look at the hood of Robby's car this weekend, it says "ExtenZe" ..otherwise it would be a S&P or "out-of-pocket" race.

I don't blame KC for his comments, heck Robby has said them all year! It would suprise me too if I bought a car that looked so good and had a great motor, but drove like crap! (Actually I think I did...back in 1989 I bought a white IROC-Z. That car looked like new, had a 5.7 TPI engine but drove like a "rattle trap"...what a bucket of bolts!).

I'm thankful Kevin & Robby are "Big Picture" thinking and trying to increase the lead on their owner points. The 71 team can be passed this weekend by both RGM & FRM. Robby only needs to beat the 71 by 6 positions! Having KC locked in for Martinsville will be huge. Robby will be back in the 7 following Martinsville. This is a must have race with points.

Be thankful RGM was able to get Kevin & work together. Kevin has a sponsor, which means he has options. It's the nature of the sport. I know Kevin has stated several times latley he is so happy to be with a team that fully supports him. I think Kevin & the team are working well together and will only get better, The guy is a "true rookie". He out ran two FRM cars yesterday, that had to feel good to him.

Robby should have two goals tommorrow. Stay in front of the 38 and beat the 71 by 6 positions. Lead a lap, whatever it takes to get points. Just need RGM to be on their game tomorrow, a blown engine or wreck could be trouble for RGM, just need to stay foucsed and bring home a solid finish.
JUST GLAD TO SEE ROBBY RACE.DID NOT EVEN NOTICE THE 7 WHEN ROBBY'S NOT BEHIND THE WHEEL.
My friend had one of those Zs'........Little time it took to go from a tight greased plate to a Fn....1935 roller skate on a wet concrete sidewalk. But Rattle Trap....YES.......there is a Fishing lure called a Rattle trap and to picture my friend driving that thing and the action of that lure is HALARIOUS!!
As far as the race goes it has been circled in deep fryer grease since Daytona. A true sit and watch on a cool October night with an ice cold glass of water and bowl of a half raw flabby salmon pink chicken wings that........
GAS ON and gamble man gamble Beer and Wings and Peace and Jimmy in the wall and I don't care!
I'm about to head down to charlotte and will be camping in the infield all weekend, with no internet access ( I had a blackberry, but it broke, now I just have a regular old flip phone) Does anyone know what time Robby will be signing autographs??
sometime on saturday. I will have an exact time later.
Ask at the merch hauler. They should be able to tell you, as soon as they know.
4:00 pm/et Saturday
Awesome, thank you both for the help.
geez.....that fact that Mears couldn't qualify ahead of Jeff Green was the only suprise yesterday.
Went to RGM today, no place for viewing like last year when we went in a side door. That sucked! What great PR.
Side door opened at 11:30 am today & plenty of fans have stopped by.Here is a picture I took of some nice people from Canada looking at the talladega car.Their wives werent feeling photogenic.

Viewing area still open if you are around.
