something is amiss with the cars they unload 3-5 mph off the pace every week....hopefully they find it
Ditto what Saluki said - cars just aren't good and not even close right now. Time to step up.
"Let's be positive", ok tell me on what? Charlotte showed that RGM is falling further behind the other teams. Not having Robby drive each race is hurting in more ways then just the top 35 in points. Robby was no better at Charlotte then Kevein has been the past several races.
Mcmurry 30/1 cha Ching I'll send my winnings to rgm to fix the car
It must benefit everybody concerned with RGM by keeping the #7 in the top 35 and the best chance of that would be keeping Robby in the car. What would be the point of Extenze supporting Conway when he's not even in the race because realisticly, he won't qualify for races.
They must know this. Offer Extenze and Conway the 500 if Robby gets the job done the rest of the year or somthing. What a mess.
What ever though, they must beat the # 38 and # 71 at Martinsville. Would it be out of the question to hope that the rear end gear doesn't break this time?
and if it does break , thats racin !
Robby or Kevin doesn't really matter at this point...they have to get the cars driving better! Unloading way off pace and only getting 9 laps in practice since you spend the other 45 mins making major changes. Hopefully testing will help. However I will say if you listened to Dale Junior & Jeff Gordon last night they fought the same things. Jeff Gordon fnished 23rd after being on the pole and Junior finished 29th -2 laps down. I use these comparisons because ever since the COT- Jeff Gordon, Dale Junior & Robby Gordon (and I'm sure others) have struggled for the majority of races. It's like it really doesn't fit their driving styles. The only place they do decent at is plate tracks where handling isn't an issue as much.

Get the cars better and everything else will take care of itself. I like Miles, but might be time to bring in another pair of hands to help out. Lots of really good crew chiefs available.

As for Martinsville, Kevin might be a better option...Robby hates that place. Now at Dega..different story, Robby can really get a huge swing in points there if you avoid the "Big One"...definitely have to "ride around back" strategy.

Not my decision, but I'd let Kevin race this weekend and Robby at Dega!
As odd as it sounds, I'm not at all convinced that Conway is a worse option that Gordon at Martinsville. It's just mystifying how bad RG is at that place, for whatever reason. I say too aggressive into the turns, but wtf do I know...I'd just drive straight into the wall...

And yeah, RG should be in the car for 'Dega (and I'm guessing will be when the #7 falls out of the top 35 after Martinsville).
Zoom- The team needs to do some testing.Testing will help tremendously.

The team is going to do some serious testing this week. What part of this are people having a problem understanding ? Charlotte is over with.Yesterday is history. Robby knows the car sucked last night & is fully aware of what needs to be done. And he is at the shop right now going over the cars. You cant cry about it 5 days later.

enjoy your afternoon.Life does go on .
you always say the same shit TOG....................but the results stay the same. Are you afraid of getting fired likr Gene if you speak the truth.
Scrap the cars
and buy what? It's a set-up/ geometry issue, NOT a physical metal issue. I read ALOT of bitching and complaining, but NO constructive help and "Srap the cars" is about the stupidest thing I've read!

At what mile and a half can you test? Seriously! The ExtenZe money is NOT a finanial windfall for RGM. It's keeping the Cup program going,NOT providing RGM with the resources for a test team. You'all watched McMurray win last night-EGR has a full time test team as does all the teams in "The Chase".
