2010 Talladega 500 Race Weekend Info & Discussion

Join in here and discuss all the weekend action for the 2010 Talladega 500 cup race. This weekend is an IMPOUND race,so there will be no practice after qualifying.The team is now over 40 points to the good in the top 35 owners points & will look to pad to that total this weekend.Here is the weekend schedule for RGM at the Alabama track.

FRIDAY , OCTOBER 29th

 Practice               2:00pm - 2:45pm/et   ( TV - SPEED )
 Practice 2            3:30pm - 4:30pm/et   ( TV - SPEED )

Practice Live Leaderboard

SATURDAY , OCTOBER 30th

 Qualifying            12:15pm - 3:00pm/et   ( TV - SPEED )

SUNDAY , OCTOBER 31st

 Raceday           1:00 pm/et , greenflag at 1:19 pm/et  ( TV - ESPN )

My concern is if the 38 doesn't make it by 1 or 2 cars, does FRM withdraw it's other two cars from the race so the 38 could get in?

That would be a wild twist... would really depend on where he finishes if they even could do that. He's slowest right now which means it wouldn't make a difference.

the 34 and 37 aren't that safe in the points,not a good plan.IMO

I wonder what happened to FORD? Looks like there is not a Ford in the top 20, and I thought the FR9 is supposed to really crank out the power! LOL!

Unrestricted-I thought the earlier R/P races the Ford teams used the older P/R engines.
