Read this on the Toyo Blog today:

 

"The first rig will always arrive to the specials (stages) to set up and prepare the pit. The second rig will follow the hummers roughly three hours behind providing support, if necessary."

So this begs the question... Will it follow 3 hours back on course? If so that is one giant beast to cross the dunes and will it put the support truck at risk of having it's own failure.

Hummer 2 is ultimately first support for Hummer 1....the frieghtliner is setup to get the job done....
So #327 is Support and Freightliner 2 is the Sweeper.
Lets just  hope that Hummer 2 doesnt have to aid Hummer 1 & can run as close behind H1 as possible.

Can you "draft" in the dunes?

Also I have not heard if the they brought the H-1 Hummers, they usually have 2 of them, one for Press and the other to handle all the carry around people.
They have other vehicles for that. The only Hummers are the 2 race hummers.
