After mechanical problems at the 238 km point on the day’s special, American Robby Gordon (Hummer) was able to resume racing, but lost more than 35 minutes at the roadside.

a lot more racing to go, if all the top 5-9 top currently have a bad day some time durring the race and robby makes this his one an only 5+ minute error, then there is hope.  A long shot but it can be done, but having this race the first real test is an issue.

Mechanical failure today, lack of 4wd yesterday... Things not starting well for Robby this year. I wouldn't expect anymore than a mid pack finish when it's all over.

He will end up in the top 10 overall by the end. Winning is probably a longshot, best case.

Yea, he's only 22nd overall, better than I thought he would have ended up but an hour+ behind after 2 stages will make a tough climb for him. Atleast he'll be good for a couple stage victories barring any more issues with the Hummer.

If you look at Miller and his crash, things can happen to anyone of them and he can be right back in it.
