New Hampshire Practice and Qualifying Chat

Today is a very critical day for Robby and RGM, as he has to qualify on speed for the first time since 2006 in the Cup series.Practice kicks off at 12:00 eastern time and can be seen live on ESPN2 . Pictures will be provided throughout the day.Qualifying kicks off at 3:00 est and Robby will be one of the last 10 cars to qualify.Talk about all of todays action here.

There are a bunch of Planetrobby.com members at the track this weekend, so there should be plenty of news and multimedia available throughout the weekend.

A little background from other posts. RG's chassis is the same he ran last week. The car has all the latest COT updates. The team spent a few late nights back at the shop turning this car around. Last week Rob used Richmond as a test session for NH. It will fly the same colors and sponsor as last week. You should expect a better result even if they just fix the alternator wiring. Rob is in the go or go homers but there are a few shoestring budget cars on that list. The 34 and the 46. Baring an accident during his qualifying run he should make rit in. He has a new Crew Chief, Kirk Almquist, coming over from GEM, former Nationwide #9 CC. Rob and Kirk have know each other for 9 years, he was at RCR when Rob was in the 31. He is also a fellow Cali native so replace Walters "Shrimp on the barby, Dingo ate my baby" with a lot of "Dude"s and "Knarly" talk (I am just kidding about the last parts!)

I'd rather hope they got all they can get out of the car,& it'll be a fuckin rocket. That rain BS is the sissy way in,& won't help a bit come Sun. I say max the damn tach!

That is probably because in the past ten minutes there have been 2 cautions, 1 for the 45 car hitting the wall, and 2 for Brian Vickers taking a spin. 45 car will be going to the back up car.

I would agree with you if at least 4 other cars (34, 96, 21, 77, 10, etc) that have less owner points than the #7 didnt hit the track yet either; but they did.
