Based on the drivers comments, they expect this to be one of the most exciting Duels ever. In the Bud Shootout, they had a record lead changes and leaders.

Saw a funny comment from one driver, "Funny how a few years ago Nascar worked hard to get the pack separated and now are making changes to get us bunched back up!"

I worry that if the racing is real tight - the push car will not be able to back off the lead car when the temps go up without causing a wreck. Plus drivers have to divert their attention from driving to study their water temps. Seems bad to make a rule that could ruin engines and be potentially more dangerous on the track than the two by two's are. Blowing an engine because you can't get off the front car would be terrible. The alternative is not too push except for quick passes and last lap heroics.

I say take the plates off and go race. The good cars will go to the front and the bad stuff will go to the back, then nascar gets their separation. Then we'll see which of the guys with the good cars have the nards to let it fly...

Looking the the lineups, RG is better off that 2 of the other 3 Dodge cars are in his duel. But will BKs lil brother be a factor? NO. So that leaves it with just BK and the F'er just goes all out like KyBusch so figure them both to either win or wreck. Others that wont finish or RG can easly beat include 64 77 60 38and maybe even the 21. All of this means RG starts the 500 around 30 or 32. Draft works like this: Fast cars work together, who ever they are. Slow cars bounce off each other trying to keep up with the fast cars.
