NASCAR needs to remove the car to car communications.
absolutely.
+1
I don't see how that would make much difference. The spotters would just relay what hand signals couldn't convey. There were plenty of pairs w/out car to car radio.

HiLo - When you talked to Robby he he talk at all about why he was so reluctant to do the 'switch' instead of breathing the car to the outside?
Nope
It would remove one advantage that the multi-car teams have. Sure, spotters will relay, but it levels the field for cars who don't have teammates.
It actually went beyond that. I was listening to the 14 and he was talking directly to the Hendrick cars.

Robby and Casey had car to car as well.
it's just as simple as programming the frequncy into the radio (other than vhf vs uhf)
I see the two Kez bros hooking up...so where does that leave the 22? Probably with anybody he wants I suppose, but would Roger say get the dodges together?
@ Slider, Brian was on SPEED this morning saying how they only have one car & one motor for the week. Furthermore how as of right now, he'll be babying that motor thru the 500. Hopefully Dodge &/or the Capitain see the advantage in evening up the odds with 2 pairs of competitive Dodges & donate some hp to Brians cause. Either way, Brad will prolly try to help his bro out...which leaves Kurt looking for HIS bro (who very likely could be looking for a partner with Gibbs having 3 cars in field) or Robby. That all (except the Kyle part) hinges on whether Brian is competitive or not. Thankfully I'm sure Rob is doing all this math in his head already. Just need to get RGM spotter on same page so he's not only clearing car, but looking for fast single cars for Rob to work with. Otherwise we'll see our boy being the 3rd wheel on 2 car packs all day.
There is going to be a ton of cars that are 6" shorter by the end of Sunday.
Yes, there are going to be lots of cars shorter AND wadded up on the "hook"!
